Wetumka is best known for the Sucker Day Festival which is held the last Saturday of September each year. Wetumka Lake is one of the best fishing lakes in Oklahoma. Astronaut John Herrington was also born in Wetumka.
SavannahPark is one of the best places to live because of our friendly neighbors, maintenance-free lawns and it is convenient to town. You can sit on your porch and watch the sun rise or set, both of which are beautiful. We have potluck dinners in our community room monthly.
